As of now, we know that the G7 series will boast of four variants – G7, G7 Play, G7 Power and G7 Plus. The phones will come with a modern narrow-bezel display with a notch on the top. The G7 series will also come with a glass rear body and a pair of dual camera setups for the G7 and G7 Plus. However, one information that hasn’t made it to us till now has been the pricing. The G series has always been a budget smartphone series from Motorola, but it seems that Motorola is willing to push the G7 to the premium segment – thanks to leaked pricing.Tipster Ishan Agarwal has managed to access the prices of the Moto G7 series for the Brazilian market. And by the looks of it, the Moto G series will be getting more expensive that before. The standard Moto G7 will go on sale for EUR 300 (approximately Rs 24,000) while the top-end Moto G7 Plus will go on sale for a price of EUR 360 (approximately Rs 29,000). These prices are higher than what the current generation Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus sell for in India.The Moto G7 Play, which will be the entry-level model for the G series, will cost around EUR 149 (approximately Rs 12,000) while the G7 Power will be selling for EUR 207 (approximately Rs 17,000). These new prices make the entry-level G series models more expensive than before.advertisementWhen Motorola came up with G6 series in India last year, the entire lineup couldn’t enjoy the success as its predecessors because of the premium pricing strategies. The Moto G6 Plus went upwards of Rs 20,000 and offered similar specifications to a Rs 12,000 smartphone from Nokia or Xiaomi.The upcoming G7 series also seems to follow the G6’s footsteps. The entire G7 lineup sports Qualcomm’s entry-level Snapdragon 632 chipset except for the G7 Plus that will come with a Snapdragon 636 chipset. Motorola seems to relying on it premium build and design as well as a near- stock Android interface.The new G7 lineup will sport modern notched displays – the G7 Play and G7 Power will have bigger notches while the G7 and G7 Plus will sport waterdrop notches. The G7, G7 Play and G7 Power will sport a combination of 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel rear camera setup while the G7 Plus will sport a 16-megapixel primary camera for the rear along with a 5-megapixel camera.
