David Warner struck his third hundred in the Indian Premier League to guide Sunrisers Hyderabad to a 48-run win over table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad.Warner’s ferocious 59-ball knock was studded with 10 fours and eight maximums that powered Hyderabad to 209 for three after they were put into bat first. In reply, Kolkata lost wickets at regular intervals to be restricted to 161 for seven, thanks to some tight bowling by Hyderabad pacers.Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul and Mohammed Siraj picked up two wickets apiece to hand the defending champions their sixth win.”Credit to out bowlers; to Siraj, the way he’s been learning and performing; Bhuvneshwar has been amazing. I can always bank on him, he’s a fantastic bowler,” Warner said at the post match presentation ceremony.Warner was named man of the match for his masterclass. He also praised his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan.”It was outstanding, we generally look to bat first and set the tone with a positive intent from ball one. We managed to maintain the run rate of 10 an over, which was amazing. We (him and Dhawan) keep working around the strike and we’ve been gelling together over all,” he said.
