Fire Destroys Southern California Warehouse Used By Amazon

A spokesperson added that customer orders will be filled from other sites. A fire early Friday destroyed a Southern California distribution facility that had been used to ship items to Amazon customers.Authorities said employees got out safely, and there were no reports of injuries.The blaze briefly closed a nearby freeway as flames shot high into the air. The fire apparently began around 5 a.m. Friday in Redlands, which is about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.last_img
