D’Angelo Russell discusses uncertain future with Warriors, playing with Stephen Curry

first_imgD’Angelo Russell is surprised he ended up with the Warriors.The 23-year-old guard had been linked to the Timberwolves, Suns and Lakers, amongst others, this offseason but was acquired by Golden State in a sign-and-trade after the Nets landed Kevin Durant. Russell discussed the deal when he met with reporters during his introductory press conference Monday. That’s a dangerous combo,” Russell said. “A guy like (Curry), who gets hot anytime throughout the game, it’s something that gives you an advantage throughout the game.
